Character Overview
Isahn, Wanderer’s Shield
Isahn is a warrior and a guardian, bound to a traveler as her loyal bodyguard.
Across multiverses, planes, and other distinct realities they travel, with Isahn acting as the brawn to bolster her magical or intellectual might.
Isahn seems a lithe werewolf at a glance, standing six-five with a natural hunch- The Wolfen is certainly a lupine beast, but trimmed down with slim, lean, wiry power.
Big, protective, and virile, the quiet beast is an ideal companion to have while braving the multiverse.
By default his mien is like a roman gladiator, wrapped in sparse banded leather armor -but the wanderer and her shield take up the tools and garb of the locals as they travel between spaces on her errands and adventures.
Text Description
Piercing eyes of gold search overtop an long, canid muzzle, peering out from a face splashed with fur the color of a long winter’s first snow. Shorter alabaster fur fills across his features, broken only by a design around his left eye, a sort of open, barbed circle. His sharp facial highlights draw down to powerful jaws, and a thick neck with a flare of mane-like fur which spreads into stiff, rounded shoulders, and muscular arms. His arms bear faint, but discernible markings -almost like tattoos, the lay and length of his fur changes to leave faint imprints of natural shapes, plant and animals, sometimes colored in to make them even more obvious. Large, but not entirely undextrous paws are tipped with claws slightly dulled by heavy use.
Despite wolfen appearances, he stands upright like a man, resting his weight on slender, but hardly delicate digit-grade legs that splay into broad, black-padded paws. Taller than most, six and a half foot before his tall, alert ears, he is an unusual sight for those accustomed to furless humanoids. Well muscled, both in broad shoulders, and firm looking limbs, he does not sacrifice all elegance, carrying an uncanny, graceful gait despite his thickset build – Evoking, but less overbuilt than the imagined werewolves of nightmares.
Not feral in nature, he wears clothes… at least to a degree that implies membership in some form of a tool-using society. Blackened leather In Romanesque form, highlighted with copper studs and buckles makes up his ensemble; each limb is wrapped by a half dozen inch-thick bands of leather, which sewn together form makeshift bracers and greaves. A single, uneven triangular breastplate straps over the upper half of his chest, copper strips cut to fit over the leather like a grill, held in place by more rivets. Atop the sparse armor he wears a matching baldric, carrying a simple steel sword over his back. Lastly, he wears something like a kilt made of studded leather fronds that armor his legs and keep him decent.
