I have a budget for commissions I’m not using because requesting art often takes too many spoons, or I’m fixated on specific people who rarely open to do some of these ideas.

I may break this out into more detailed posts for each character but for now it’s just a single place to put all of these ideas and desires.

More snep art, all the time, forever. Especially:

  • Collabs/Shared Art.
    • If you have a crush on / want to do terrible things to Ghost PLEASE JUST ASK
      • I am probably interested!!
    • Bonus points if we know each other or have interacted in-character but not required
    • Seriously there are characters I would do anything to smooch or worse out there and I’m too shy to ask about, I get it, this is permission to not be like me :3
  • Pride Art. Bisexual colors, lighting, clothes, outfits, flags, this cat is queer for pretty much everyone.
  • More art with my own OCs/Adopts.
    • This is an open invitation to ship Ghost with any of my other characters, basically.
    • Drawing/Interacting with Ghost and someone else looks exciting too? Speak up!

Another (Social Media Site) bites the dust, and 2024 updates.

FFXIV, Ghostpaw, Meta, World Wide Web

Cohost couldn’t quite make it work.

I’m quite certain I’ll spend more time this Sneptember talking about this little website, but just off the top of my head, there’s some really amazing folks and communities I met through Cohost.

Maybe cohost and mastodon seemingly working have made me complacent about maintaining my own site, so I guess I’ll have to think about putting real content here. Until then, feel free to contact me on your horrible communication tool of choice

Some quick bullet point updates for how things have been going and what I’ve been up to this year:

  • My raid group Final Fantasy XIV this tier is great, I’m still self conscious about being a bad DPS player
  • Finally got into VR Chat. I have a lot of AV projects and I’m not great with blender but it’s very fun.
  • Been much more serious about birdwatching than I was in the past. Good brain hobby.
  • Got lured back to Warframe. I don’t know how long I’m going to stick at but it’s a time sink.
  • I still don’t get enough art of Ghostpaw or spend enough time doing furry things to make my brain feel good about it.

I always wish I was commissioning more art from the furry community. I’m particularly bad at this actually, partly because I follow too many artists, and partly because the back and forth of negotiating a custom piece of art is rife with pitfalls for someone with anxiety and ADHD.

Still, I manage to get a few new pieces of Ghostpaw every year and 2023 was no exception. I did end up with more YCH-style commissions than usual, but most of them turned out phenomenally so I can hardly complain.

Not going to bury the lede with this blog – I’m a huge Furry, and Ghostpaw is my online avatar/Fursona. You should expect to see lots of art of him around! I’ve gone through lots of characters to represent me online but Ghost has stuck around the longest, perhaps for obvious sexy cat reasons.

This is a recent piece by @PeacheeDEW from Twitter that started as a YCH (Your Character Here) pose a few months ago that I instantly thirsted for. It’s also a good piece to use to talk about Ghostpaw’s design, and my taste in art when I commission artists to draw him!
